北山古洋樓又稱為「北山共軍指揮所」。北山位於村口，為當時重要的戰場之一，因此在古寧頭戰役時被共軍列為指揮所。
The North Hill Old Mansion is also named “Communist Military Command Post”. North Hill is located near the village entrance. It was one of important battle sites, so it was the command post during the Kuningtou War.
而洋樓之所以會傷痕纍纍，是因為國共雙方曾在此有激烈的交戰。此外，洋樓前方還有墓文碑誌可供參考，天氣好的時候不妨可以去北山走走。
There are many bullet holes in the walls because of the fierce fight between the Kuomintang and the Communist. In front of the mansion, there is a stone with introducing of the mansion.
