碧山，位於金門本島東北角的閩南傳統聚落，不同於其他金門的村落，碧山彩繪村有許多的彩繪，出現於村內各古宅的壁面等地，其彩繪是由繪本家劉瑞琪(Wawa)與村內志工、學童攜手完成的10幅彩繪畫作。碧山有豐富的人文歷史與特色建築，最有名的是以藝術、環保及色彩來妝點出的新風貌，適合邊走邊欣賞這個充滿歷史人文的小聚落！
走在碧山彩繪村，彷彿變成一個無憂無慮的小孩，每當看到牆上的畫作，就想起小時候頑皮的自己，在別人家牆上作畫，遭來一頓怒罵的時光。
Bishan painted village, located in the northeastern side of Kinmen is a traditional southern Fujian style village. There are many paintings on the walls of old houses in Bishan village by the artists, Ruiqi Liu(Wawa), as well as volunteers and the students in the village. The village has rich in culture, history and architecture. It combines modern ideas with art, color, and aesthetics.
When walking into Bishan village, we feel like carefree children. Every time we see the paintings on the walls, we think of the naughty kids who got blamed when painting on the walls of others’ houses.
睿友學校 Ruiyou school
睿友學校建立於1934年，屬於巴洛克式建築，兼具中西文化，經歷73年的烽火歲月，為縣定古蹟。在睿友學校後方有獨特的閩南建築，閩南建築的特色有屋脊、山牆、燕尾、馬背，古時候則以燕尾和馬背來區分居民的職業，燕尾是當官的人，馬背則是一般居民。睿友學校是一間非常古色古香的學校，仰望它更為壯觀，地上也刻有一些書法，村子裡非常安靜，村民作息時間單純，所以建議在較早的時間去參觀。
School Ruiyou was founded in 1934, and is a Baroque-style building. It combines both Chinese and Western culture. After 73 years it has become a Kinmen County historical location. Behind the school the village has unique southern Fujian-style architecture with Gable, dovetail, and horseback roofs. In ancient times, the dovetail and horseback were used to distinguish residents’ occupations. The dovetail roof stands for government official and the horseback roof stands for and ordinary citizen. There is some calligraphy carved on the ground as well. It’s very quiet in the village, and the villagers keep a regular daily routine. We recommend you to visit the village earlier in the day.
