沿著模範街走下去就是邱良功母節孝坊了，是臺灣規模最大且保存最完整的牌坊，也是金門唯一的國定古蹟，被稱為「閩臺第一坊」。節孝坊建於清嘉慶17年(西元1812年)。邱良功的戰績顯著，替國家平定了作亂的海盜。而為了要紀念邱良功母親將邱良功養育成人，守寡了非常長的時間，節孝精神非常值得敬佩，才建造而成的。
Qiu Liang Gung’s Mother Chastity Archt is the biggest and the most complete memorial arch in Taiwan. Also, it is the only national monument in Kinmen. Qiu Liang Gung’s Mother Chastity Arch was built in 1812. The records of Qiu Liang Gung are very extraordinary. He fought pirates for his country. He built this arch in the memory of his mother who brought him up and remained a widow for a long time.
牌坊是一座四柱三重樓之石造牌坊，石材是用上泉州花崗石(俗稱泉州白)和墨綠的青斗石建造而成，高度超過十公尺。
It is a four-pillared, there stone arch. It was built from Quanzhou granite and dark green limestone. It is more than ten meters tall.
位於金城鎮最熱鬧的菜市場裡面，有許多當地的特色小吃和店家可以去吃看看，例如：楊家、梁記等。

一定要試的當然就是蚵嗲，這是金門最具代表性的小吃之一，炸得金黃酥脆的外皮和飽滿的內餡，怎麼讓人不心動呢？
The refreshment you must take a taste is oyster fritter. This is very representative of Kinmen. The crisp golden crust and plump oyster stuffing is almost impossible to refuse.
金門的粥和台灣不同，是沒有飯粒的，若是想來碗當地人們必吃的粥的話，在這裡也有一家叫「壽記廣東粥」的店家，有在來金門前先做功課的話，一定會有人介紹這家店，這裡的粥大碗又好吃，還可以搭配油條一起吃。但需要早點到，且要現場等至少30分鐘，通常中午12點左右就會賣完收店了。
The porridge in Kinmen is different from Taiwan as it does not have any rice. If you want to eat a bowl of porridge that local people must eat, you can go to “Shou Kee Guangdong porridge”. The porridge here is really inexpensive and delicious. But you need to go there early, and need to wait for at least 30 minutes. It usually sold out around 12p.m.
