因成功的舊名為「陳坑」，陳景蘭洋樓也稱為「陳坑大洋樓」，不僅是金門規模最大的洋樓，也有金門第一洋樓的美稱。樓房正對料羅灣以及成功海灘，旁邊緊鄰金門日報社，視野相當開闊。
陳景蘭洋樓為金門華僑陳景蘭先生所建造，樓房建造歷時4年。由金門和廈門兩地匠師共同合作建造，加上陳景蘭先生因經商關係，常常往返南洋，因此洋樓帶有南洋並融合閩南建築的風格。
Chen Jing-Lan's Western-Style House is also called “Chen Keng Big Western-Style House” because the former name of ChengGong was Cheng Keng. It’s the biggest western-style building in Kinmen and is suitably called The First Western-Style House. Facing the Liao Luo Bay and ChengGong Beach, and it’s close to the Kinmen Daily News office. Chen Jing-Lan's Western-Style House was built for Chen Jing-Lan, and the two craftsmen from Kinmen and Xiamen spent four years to build. As a result, its style is a blend of south-eastern and Fujian.
洋樓前方有一片佔地約二十五公頃的庭園，名為「金湯公園」，是金門規模最大的私人洋樓花園；園內有一座象徵勝利的女神像，是樓房於民國48年改建為「官兵休假中心」時所建造。
In front of the house, there is a garden named “Jin Tang Park”, and is the biggest private garden in Kinmen. The statue of the Goddess that symbolizes victory was built when the western-style house was renamed as “Military R&R Center” in 1959.
