紅瓦白牆，這個看似擁有美麗外表的建築物，背後隱藏許多不為人知的辛酸。
The structure has red tiles and white walls and has a beautiful exterior appearance. Behind this, there is hidden an episode of suffering and bitterness not known to anyone.
民國38年大批國軍退守金門，大部分均借住於民房或屋主僑居南洋的空屋，日久生情，產生了許多男女感情糾紛，甚至於有婦女被駐軍居人強暴，種種事件讓政府很頭痛。
In 1949, a large group of national revolutionary army retreated to Kinmen and many stayed with local families. Love grew between some soldiers and some women problems between the local men and women. There were even women raped by the soldiers. This problem perplexed the government.
因此，在民國40年，胡璉將軍於金門設立第一座「軍中樂園」，就是我們所謂的風化區，專門提供給當時駐軍於金門的軍人，又名「八三一(念：么)」；大約在民國47年後到50年之間，軍中樂園易名「特約茶室」。
As a result, in 1951, a Chinese Nationalist general, Hu Lien, set up the first military brothel named “Paradise in Service” a “red-light district”. It was created for men stationed in Kinmen and thus it was also called “Ba San Yao” in Chinese. In 1958 to 1961, it was renamed as “special teahouse”.
過去嚴格限定只有軍人可以入內，且每張票限定30分鐘。門外會有憲兵守著，若是鬧事就會被憲兵抓起來，就地正法。
In the past, there was a strict the soldiers would only be allowed 30 minutes. There was a military police standing outside the door. If you were making trouble, you would face capital punishments.
侍應生就是軍妓，這些人本來就是從事娼妓工作但卻淪為女囚犯的人，或是自願從事軍妓者，他們有薪水可以領，但是幾乎沒有什麼自己的時間可以休息，每隔一段時間也要做身體檢查，以確保身體狀況良好。
Those women who were called “waitresses” were actually means “prostitutes”. No woman was forced to work in the brothels. They originally engaged in prostitution but became a criminal in the end or volunteered to do this. They had salary but no time to rest. At regular intervals, they had to take a physical examination to make sure they were healthy.
展示館內有需多姑娘房，房間雖然擺設簡單，但是每個房間都有自己的故事，這些展示都陳現當時軍妓的無奈與脅迫！
In the hall, there are many girls’ rooms. Although the displays of the rooms are simple, each room has its own story. All of stories show the helplessness and duress of the prostitutes.
